For all those who abhor the disintegration of Western culture and civilisation under the pernicious strain of Modernism, moral and religious relativism, multiculturalism, the disdainful and prideful attempts to undermine traditional marriage and the Christian family through the vicious assent to sodomitical practices and attempts to marry same sex "partners," radical feminism which outrageously deprives young ladies of aspiring to the nonpareil dignity of Motherhood, the unwillingness of Europe to confront or resist the profoundly dangerous encroachment of Islamic religion and culture into modern European civilisation, the prevalent revisionist spirit of modern Western historical scholarship, and foremost the outright rejection of Christianity as the integral foundation of Western culture and society as it has developed over the past twenty-four centuries and that England is and always shall be a Christian land.
All Christians are invited to support the Christian Restoration Movement in order to promote Christianity in Western culture against those who deny its proper and rightful place therein.
As traditionalists who dislike modern influences with its liberal attitudes, we cannot accept in Great Britain today the adoption of ideas and values formally associated with atheistic communism while at the same time boarding the consumer bandwagon of greed with the inevitable consequences we are now suffering globally, ie colossal national and personal debt. Our nation appears to no longer have a moral compass. The abandonment of traditional values, however, is not just peculiar to Great Britain.
Great Britain should leave the European Union immediately. This corrupt, undemocratic and fraud-ridden institution should be superseded by modern, democratic structures which enable the people of Europe to co-operate without loss of any nation’s freedoms and way of life. The repeal of the European Communities Act 1972 under which EU directives take precedence over UK law should be instantly undertaken. Once self-government has been restored, Great Britain will be free, as an independent state, to co-operate and trade with its neighbours in Europe and with countries elsewhere in the world without any of the restrictions imposed by EU membership.
Multiculturalism, adopted as official policy in several Western nations from the 1970s onward for reasons that varied from country to country, is both extremely undesirable and inherently wrong. Multiculturalism refers to a theoretical approach and a number of policies adopted in Western nation-states which bear a striking resemblance to communism. The indigenous people have never been consulted, and all three main political parties offer no choice on the matter. Radical multicultural policies were adopted by local administrations and by successive Tory and Labour governments (particularly during Tony Blair's administration) from the 1970s. Multiculturalists are guilty of practicing cultural relativism, ie judging customs and practices of other cultures in their contexts, often confusing this with moral relativism (lack of an idea of right and wrong), and they emphasise that not all cultural values and practices must be held in equal regard in every society. Relatively homogeneous societies, however, invest more in public goods, indicating a higher level of public altruism, eg the degree of ethnic homogeneity correlates with the government's share of gross domestic product as well as the average wealth of citizens. Case studies find that multi-racial societies are less charitable and less able to co-operate to develop public infrastructure. A recent multi-city study of municipal spending on public goods in the United States found that racially diverse cities spend a smaller portion of their budgets and less per capita on public services than do more homogeneous cities. Great Britain needs to consider repealing the Race Relations Act and the British Nationality Act of 1948.
We would also seek the repeal of the Sexual Offences Act of 1967 which enacted recommendations that allowed for the first time in Great Britain homosexual acts and sodomitical practices between consenting males and married couples. Hitherto it had been a criminal offence for either heterosexuals or homosexuals to engage in sodomy. An amendment in 2000 reduced the age restriction to sixteen. We seek to restore the status quo to how it was prior to 1967.
We would abandon metrication and restore Imperial Measure. We would also bring back pre-decimal currency. From the sixteenth century until decimalisation, the pound was divided into twenty shillings, each of twelve (old) pence. The first decimal coins were circulated in 1968. These were the five pence (5p) and ten pence (10p), and had values of one shilling (1/-) and two shillings (2/-), respectively, under the pre-decimal £sd system. Decimal coins are minted in copper-plated steel (previously bronze), cupro-nickel and nickel-brass. The two pound coin is bimetallic. In the years just prior to decimalisation, the circulating British coins were the half crown (2s 6d), two shillings or florin, shilling, sixpence (6d), threepence (3d), penny (1d) and halfpenny (½d). The farthing (¼d) had been withdrawn in 1960.
We would, finally, like to see the present culture of alcohol and drug abuse, gambling, vice, pornography and crime addressed in an effective way, ie its control, or, in the case of drugs, gambling, pornography and vice, its prohibition. We would also seek to introduce a form of conscription along non-military youth movement lines for all people completing their school education.
